Exploring: Ireland and Scotland

In 2019, we visited Ireland and Scotland. It was a really amazing trip, and in a way, full circle for me. My father has researched our family genealogy for decades, tracing back part of our lineage to County Down in Ireland. Although my wife, mother-in-law, and I only passed through this county during our travels, we made it a point to stop, take a breath, and take in the area from where one of my ancestors emigrated to the United States sometime around 1775. There's no way that voyage would have been easy, and it certainly wouldn't have been quick. During this quick stop, I felt connected to the past and felt grateful for the opportunities I have.


From this travel, I have a journal that's scattered between notes on my phone and jotted down on paper. I'll get to consolidating it all eventually. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this travel video I put together:
